I am passionate about helping others and have worked in the NGO and Education fields for over 15 years. This has included projects with children and adolescents, refugees and migrants, people with mental health issues, and people with learning and physical disabilities.
I am certified as a coach by The World Coaching Organization and have an MA in Education from Birmingham University. My coaching has involved working with people looking for work, professionals and students who want to create strategies for professional growth whilst looking after their mental health. I love to get to know people and see what they are capable of and believe my training and experience in coaching has allowed me to be a much more impactful and skilled helper.
I am originally from the UK and have lived abroad for over 10 years - currently in Helsinki with my Finnish wife - and for various amounts of time in the US, Spain, India and Uganda, and love working with people from different cultures.
I have an especially deep passion for supporting individuals who are looking to make a difference in their career. As I have experience working with organisations such as Action Against Hunger and The British Red Cross, I bring first-hand knowledge of the challenges and rewards that come with working in this space.

As an advocate of Effective Altruism (EA), I apply its principles to help individuals maximise their positive impact in the world. I have worked on projects in the EA movement as a freelancer for Giving what We Can and Effective Altruism Finland, with whom I am also a career coach.
I am curious and love learning new things. I also enjoy football, music, reading, nature, travel, comedy and being with family and friends. I look forward to meeting you!
